How do you keep your lighters from growing legs?

How do you mark your lighters so nobody steels them? I live 11 miles from anything, so when you get a lighter you hang on to it for deer life. Cuz it’s a journey to replace it. LOL There are always ppl around and when they go my lighters seem to grow legs or something.

1. Either keep it in your pocket or keep your eye on it. Everyone in my old group of friends had a lighter of a specific color - that way, no one would mistake someone else's lighter for their own. It worked, too.
2. Quit smoking, and you won't need a lighter.
3. dont share them!! be selfish..
4. Super glue lighter to thyself :) Or be really annoying when someone using your lighter watch them intently until they give it back. Soon enough they will find that....slightly uncomfortable and start bringing their own damn lighters.

This is what you do: - have all your friends pick a colour for a lighter, including you. - only buy lighters that are your colour, same with your friends. - if you catch someone with a different colour lighter than the colour they picked, you get to punch them in the arm, as hard as you can. - problem solved.
7. I either don't let people use mine, or I have to light whatever for them. And then when I'm at home I hide them, just incase someone comes over and decides they need mine. :]
